1. If I
am interested in a CTG system, how do I go about obtaining help?
CTG has a network of authorized dealers/integrators.
We can arrange to have a dealer in your area contact you or provide
you with dealer contacts that you may call. We will work hand in
hand with the dealer on your specific project to include design
and layout recommendations. Simply call or e-mail us. Phone: 941-922-2322,
e-mail: sales@ctgaudio.com
2. Can a single CTG system handle both audio and video
conferencing?
Yes, the CTG consoles have two pairs of inputs
and outputs to connect simultaneously to both a video codec and
to a telephone interface. Levels for each are independently adjustable.
3.
Can I add a wireless presenter microphone to the system?
Any wireless microphone with a line level output
from its receiver can be connected to a CTG control console.
4.
In presentation rooms, or classrooms can the audience
or class microphones be muted and then opened for Q & A
sessions?
Yes, the FS-03 console has settings for just
that purpose. A switch can be provided or your control system
may be programmed to allow easy selection of either mode.
5.
Can the CTG system accommodate dividable rooms with
a folding door separating the rooms?
The FS-03 is pre programmed for separate rooms
and combined rooms. The combination of control consoles to be
used will depend on the size of the rooms.
6.
Can program audio be used in a conference whereby the
program audio source can heard at both the far end of the conference
and the local speakers?
Yes, with the FS-03 control console an audio source, such as
a VCR, DVD, or computer may be connected so the audio will be
sent to the far end and also be fed to the local speakers.
7.
How can I tell if the microphones are muted?
It is best to use the mute function on the
video codec or the telephone interface. You will the see a notification
on the video screen that the outgoing audio is muted, or an indicator
on the telephone interface will alert that the microphones are
muted.
