The FS-03 Advanced Teleconference Interface is designed for group teleconferencing in larger spaces and/or difficult acoustic environments. It is a proprietary control console to power CTG microphones and speakers.
The FS-03 will accommodate up to 8 (eight) microphones and 6 (six) speakers. It transparently turns microphones on and off as people speak, minimizing unwanted ambient noise and side conversations.
The FS-03 connects at line level to a video codec to expand
audio coverage and maintain an interactive environment throughout the
room. The optional CTG or other telephone interface allows participants
to be connected to a telephone line for audio conferences.
The FS-03 replaces the need for a separate microphone mixer
and speaker amplifier with an all in one design. The microphone auto-mixer,
signal enhancements and all internal levels are pre-calibrated and optimized
for CTG microphones and teleconference operation. The FS-03 comes with
eight stored configurations stored in non-volatile memory that may be
recalled for various common applications.
Software is available for the FS-03 to permit configurations
where uncommon applications exist or adjustments are needed due to unusual
acoustical conditions.
- Undetectable gating on and off of microphones automatically as people speak
- Signal enhancements provided to reduce reverberation and unwanted noise
- Expands microphone and speaker coverage areas
- Provides comfortable listening levels to both ends of the teleconference
- Problem free set up and calibration procedure
- Permits selection of a videoconference or an audio conference with an optional telephone interface
- Line level connections for lapel, podium or other types of presentation microphones or program sources
- RS232, logic inputs and logic outputs for various control options
- May be expanded to accommodate even larger areas through the linking of additional FS-03's
