CTG microphones have been re-engineered to operate within a phantom voltage range of 2 to 50 VDC. Previously CTG recommended not exceeding 20V DC phantom.

This allows them to connect directly to a wide range of mixers, including the Vortex and XAP lines, with no adapters required.

There is no compromise to the high performance of our microphones because of this change.

Some newer wireless devices such as Blackberry's and Nextel cell phones have caused radio frequency interference in microphones. CTG has added additional circuitry in its connection module to help prevent this interference.
